体験では、凛とした美しさが漂う本格的な茶道体験をはじめ、はかた舞娘（まいこ）が織りなす優美な日本舞踊や三味線の生演奏といった、日本の誇る伝統芸能・伝統文化体験を間近でじっくりと堪能していただきました。お抹茶の芳醇な香りに包まれるモダンな和の空間のなか、舞娘の洗練された所作や伝統の奥深さに大変強い興味を示してくださり、質問や写真撮影を交えながら、国境を越えて心を通わせる素晴らしいひとときとなりました。

We were absolutely thrilled to welcome a wonderful professional tour guide all the way from New Zealand to Hakata Maiko Chaya “Wanoka-no-Omote”!

It was a true honor for us to host a travel professional who connects cultures across the globe at our venue, located in the historic Kawabata Shopping Arcade in Hakata.

During their visit, they fully immersed themselves in our authentic Japanese cultural experiences, including an elegant tea ceremony, graceful Japanese dance performances by our Hakata Maiko, and live Shamisen music. Surrounded by the rich, soothing aroma of matcha in our modern yet traditional Japanese space, they showed a deep appreciation for the refined movements of the Maiko and the history behind each ritual. It was a wonderful, heartfelt time of cross-cultural connection filled with engaging questions and memorable photo opportunities.

At Wanoka-no-Omote, we have dedicated English-speaking staff ready to clearly communicate the historical background and etiquette of these traditions, ensuring that our international guests can experience the essence of Japanese culture without any language barriers.
